Solve Audio mode detection issue with ST DevKit on Windows
This problem occurs when Windows does not mount the correct driver for ST DevKit in audio mode. Although the ST DevKit describes itself as an audio device on the USB port, Windows uses a Virtual COM port driver for this device.
The workaround is the following:
Open the Window’s “Device Manager” and extends the “Ports (COM & LPT)” in the devices tree :
Click on “STMicroelectronics Virtual COM Port”, then right click and click on “Uninstall device”.
A dialog window will pop-up, click on “Delete the driver software for this device” and then click on “Uninstall”.
Disconnect the USB cable of the BOS1901-KIT and reconnect it.
